Vice President Faisal Naseem reaffirmed on Wednesday the administration's commitment to promoting religious awareness and communal harmony. He made the remarks during a meeting with religious scholars who participated in the Ministry of Islamic Affairs' religious awareness initiatives throughout the holy month of Ramadan 1444 AH.
At the meeting, the Vice President expressed sincere gratitude to the scholars and individuals who organised and facilitated the religious programmes during Ramadan. He thanked them for their efforts in promoting Islamic values and educating the community about Islam.
The administration recognises the importance of fostering societal harmony and developing human resources. The Vice President stated that the administration plans to increase its efforts to promote religious awareness and foster religious compassion among students and civil communities in the upcoming academic year.
The Vice President also stated that the administration is committed to organising Quran recitation competitions and other initiatives that promote religious values. He also emphasised the importance of working together to create a community that prioritises education and the advancement of society.
In contrast to previous years, many religious events were held during the last Ramadan. These events included Ihya forums designed for school students and the general public.
