The President meets the recipient of the "President's Scholarships"

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met on Tuesday with Ms Fathimath Huyam Khalila, the recipient of the President's Scholarship this year. President Solih met Ms Huyam, a student from Al Madhrasathul Arabiyyathul Islamiyya, at the President's Office.

At the meeting, President Solih congratulated Ms Huyam on her academic accomplishments and encouraged her to pursue further studies. He also recognised the contributions of Ms Huyam's school and her family in her educational journey. He further expressed hope that Ms Huyam would exercise the same enthusiasm and vigour in her higher education and return to serve the nation with diligence and integrity.

Ms Huyam scored the highest distinctions in 13 subjects at the Shahada Saanaviyya examinations. She chose to pursue higher education in architecture at the Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL), Malaysia.

The Minister of Higher Education, Dr Ibrahim Hassan, Ms Huyam's mother, and the Deputy Principal of Al Madhrasathul Arabiyyathul Islamiyya, Aishath Azma, attended the ceremony to present the scholarship award letter to Ms Huyam.
