Vice President Faisal Naseem stated on Wednesday that the administration’s education policy seeks to prepare students for the 21st century. He made the remarks at a function held to inaugurate Iskandhar School’s "STEM Fair 2022" this evening.
Speaking at the function, the Vice President highlighted the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in developing children’s knowledge and skills. He also spoke about involving children in practical activities that require problem-solving to help nurture such skills.
The Vice President also emphasised the priority attached by the administration to developing the education sector. He concluded by saying that success can be attained through hard work and determination, and he urged parents and teachers to collaborate in order to achieve the goal.
The STEM Fair features 186 innovative projects by students from key stages 1-4. The fair will close on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Afterwards, the Vice President also visited the stands at the fair and inquired about the projects.
