Vice President Faisal Naseem stated on Tuesday that the administration aims to eliminate all obstacles to building happy and prosperous families. He made these remarks while speaking at a function to launch a children's book series published by the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services as part of the "Geveshi Gulhun" campaign.

He stated that the administration had been working towards eliminating domestic violence and sexual assault and creating a conducive environment to build happy, dignified, prosperous families.
The Vice President also outlined some of the achievements made by the administration in ensuring a caring state and dignified families. He stated that the administration had introduced six months of paid maternity leave and one month of paid paternity leave, in addition to plans to establish childcare centers. He also announced plans to develop family lounges in upcoming school buildings.
The Vice President also spoke about the importance of reporting domestic violence and sexual assault. He emphasised that the administration's efforts to raise awareness about the issue were bearing fruit, noting that 494 cases were reported in 2021.
The Vice President also noted the role of parents and guardians in being role models to children and the role of society in ensuring the success of awareness campaigns such as "Geveshi Gulhun." The administration launched the campaign on July 15, 2020, and several public awareness activities have been carried out over the past two years.
