The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Dewi Gustina Tobing, on Monday morning, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Vice President Faisal Naseem. At the meeting held at the President’s Office, the Vice President and the Ambassador discussed the existing close bilateral relationship between the two countries.
During their conversation, they expressed hope to strengthen bilateral consultations to explore new avenues of cooperation further to solidify the partnership. The discussions also centred on cooperation in air connectivity, higher education, healthcare services, tourism, people-to-people contact, and business cooperation between the two countries.
The Vice President and the Ambassador also spoke about the benefits of the visa waiver agreement that concluded recently and deliberated on the agreements that are currently in negotiation. The Vice President concluded by expressing hope that the friendly relations between the two countries would prosper.
