Vice President Faisal Naseem, on Saturday evening, concluded his two-day official visit to Fuvahmulah City and returned to Malé.

In Fuvahmulah City, the Vice President attended a session of the Ihya Forum held coinciding with the fasting month of Ramadan. He also attended the groundbreaking ceremony of a project to develop a Centre for the Holy Quran. Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice President stressed the importance of building generations of productive citizens and asked experts and scholars in different fields to work towards this end.

During his visit, the Vice President also met with members of the the Fuvahmulah City Council and held discussions about the ongoing developmental projects in the city.
