President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Saturday evening met with members of the Racing Association of Maldives (RAM) and inquired about their concerns. The meeting took place at Mulee'aage, the Official Residence of the President of the Maldives.
At the meeting, members of RAM shared their concerns and challenges faced in the development of motorsports in the Maldives. They also discussed the need for a training area and a permanent racing track in order to develop the sport further.
President Solih reiterated the government's commitment to implement equitable development in all sports. He assured that the concerns raised by RAM members would be addressed through relevant government offices. The President and members of RAM also discussed opportunities for the development of motorsports in the Maldives.
