Vice President Faisal Naseem on Thursday afternoon concluded a four-day official visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Vice President travelled to Dubai to participate in the World Government Summit 2022. During his visit, the Vice President signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of the Republic of Maldives and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on Experience Exchange on Government Development and Modernization. The signing ceremony was held at the sidelines of the World Government Summit 2022.
The Minister of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri paid a courtesy call on the Vice President on Tuesday where they discussed ways to improve collaboration on environmental issues between the two countries. The Vice President also visited Expo 2020 Dubai and toured the pavilions.
The Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, Aminath Shauna and the Secretary of Foreign Relations at the President’s Office Ibrahim Hood accompanied the Vice President on his visit.
