President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Monday visited Expo 2020 Dubai and toured the pavilions, making stops at the Maldives Pavilion, the Singapore Pavilion, the Italy Pavilion and the Vision Pavilion.
The Maldives Pavilion showcases sustainable practices to address climate change and its success in co-existing with the environment. The Singapore Pavilion displays Singapore’s innovations and aspirations as a resilient, livable city in a garden.
The Italy Pavilion depicts how creativity comes from different places and disciplines in an unprecedented journey through the country’s extraordinary past, present and future.
The Vision Pavilion celebrates the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. President Solih is in Dubai at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.
