First Lady Fazna Ahmed on Tuesday evening attended a reunion dedicated to the volunteers who served on the Ministry of Tourism’s "Covid-19 patient relations non-medical support team." The function was held to celebrate the volunteers and show appreciation for their invaluable contributions to the national Covid-19 response.
Speaking with the volunteers, the First Lady expressed her gratitude and appreciation for their contribution and dedicated service in assisting Covid-19 patients and the overall efforts in combating the pandemic. She noted that, despite the situation at the time of the call, the volunteers had displayed exceptional compassion and rendered exemplary humanitarian services.
On this note, she went on to express her gratitude to all the volunteers and humanitarians who have been providing their support and assistance to the national Covid-19 response. The function saw the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the volunteers.
