Vice President Faisal Naseem, on Thursday evening, left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to attend the fifth Indian Ocean Conference (IOC) 2021. It would be held from December 4 to 5, 2021, in Abu Dhabi.
The Vice President is attending the conference as the Guest of Honour and would deliver an address at its inaugural session. The two-day conference would be inaugurated on December 4, with special plenary sessions scheduled for the following day. The theme of IOC 2021 is "Ecology, Economy, Epidemic."
The Vice President is accompanied on the visit by a high-level delegation from the President’s Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He would conclude his visit and return on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
