Vice President Faisal Naseem has expressed his gratitude for the roles played by health workers and all collaborating agencies and individuals in managing the Covid-19 pandemic in the Maldives. The Vice President said this while speaking at the ceremony held today to inaugurate the Service Excellence Programme at Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH).
During his speech, the Vice President commended healthcare workers and those working in the health sector for their relentless effort to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. He urged participants to make the best use of the training and lessons learned to improve their work. He also stressed the importance of cohesiveness in the work environment and working as a team.
The Service Excellence Programme is a series of programmes initiated by the President's Office and the Civil Service Training Institute to improve the quality of service. The programme will be conducted for AEH employees from 29 - 31 October, 2021.
Following the ceremony held at AEH, the Vice President visited the development site for Masjid Al-Walidaini and inspected the progress of the project.
