H.E. President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has toured the Maldivian pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020 with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Dubai, this evening.
The Maldives’ pavilion promotes the country under the Sustainability theme at the Expo 2020, presenting visitors with a visual journey through history, culture, ecology, cuisine, & art. The theme also covers the Maldives ' historical and ongoing initiatives to achieve a sustainable future by championing climate change and promoting sustainable practices.
President Solih and H.E. First Lady Fazna Ahmed are currently on an official visit to UAE to attend Expo 2020 in Dubai. A high-level Maldivian delegation accompanied them on this visit.
