President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has this afternoon arrived at Nilandhe Atholhu Dhekunuburi Rinbudhoo Island for a two-day trip. The President was greeted warmly by the residents of Rinbudhoo Island upon arrival.
President Solih will participate in several events during the trip, including inaugurating the ‘Cultural Road,’ Futsal Field and ‘Mariyam-maa’ Programme in the Island. The President will also hold discussions with the Island Council and representatives from major institutions of the island to address any issues, concerns or requests the residents may have.
Later in the evening, President Solih is scheduled to attend Rinbudhoo School's 50th Anniversary Ceremony as the Guest of Honour.
