President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met with the members of South Nilandhe Atoll Rinbudhoo Island Council this afternoon at the President's Office.
During the meeting, the Councillors shared some of their concerns and priorities of their constituents, including the harbour development project and water and sewerage project. They reiterated the urgency and importance of the projects to their constituents and shared further concerns on issues such as waste management, beach erosion and housing. The Councillors also highlighted ways to bring more socio-economic development and shared proposed future development plans and activities.
The President affirmed that the Administration would work with relevant stakeholders to address the concerns raised by the Councillors.
