Vice President Faisal Naseem has toured Male’ City today and inspected prospective areas marked for the development of parking spaces. The project will enable authorities to prohibit roadside parking in order to decongest the streets.
The Vice President toured the site of old Dharumavantha School and Ameeniyya School, the Greater Male Bus Terminal area and West Park area. He was accompanied by members of Male’ City Council and senior figures from the Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure.
The ambitious Male’ City Streetscaping development plan proposed by the government is backed by the Male’ City Council. The plan envisions the streets of Male’ greener, safer and functionally convenient for pedestrians and vehicles.
