President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has today appointed four advisors to the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage. The four advisors were appointed at a ceremony held this morning.
The four advisors are:
1. Recipient of Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzuddin Naseema Mohamed Kaleyfaanu
2. Recipient of Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzuddin Abbas Ibrahim
3. Recipient of Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzuddin Abdulla Sodiq
4. Mohamed ‘Madulu’ Waheed
Speaking at the meeting, President Solih expressed his hope that the four advisors would render their experience and assist the Heritage Ministry in its endeavours in safeguarding the perpetuation of items and sites of historical significance to future generations and ensure the documentation, preservation and protection of cultural heritage.
The advisors expressed their gratitude to President Solih for the opportunity. They further assured the President of their commitment to discharge their duties and responsibilities to the best of their abilities.
