President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has attended and watched the final games of the LITUS 46th National Badminton Tournament 2019. The final matches were played tonight at the Malé Kulhivaru Ekuveni.
President Solih watched the Division 1 men’s singles final between Mohamed Ajfan Rasheed and Nibal Ahmed. President Solih also presented the President’s Cup to Revival Sports—the champion team in Division 1.
The tournament, organised by the Badminton Association of Maldives, featured a total of 110 players in the Opens Events, nine teams in Division 2, and three teams in Division 1. It was held from 21-29 October at the Malé Kulhivaru Ekuveni.
