President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have visited the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in Japan. The visit is part of the President’s ongoing official visit to Japan. President Solih met with Ibrahim Uvais, Ambassador of Maldives to Japan, and the other staff at the Embassy.

Speaking during the visit, President Solih lauded the efforts of the Embassy staff in fostering the close friendly ties that exist between the Maldives and Japan, praising and acknowledging their hard work and dedication. He expressed his confidence that the staff will continue in their efforts to contribute to the developmental agenda of the country.

During the visit, ‎President Solih also signed the guest book at the Embassy.
