President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has presented Letters of Appointment to two State Ministers. Ms Aishath Athiya Naseer from Maadhaadhu, Gn. Fuvamulah, and Ms Zilfeena Hassan, from Neeluge, Gdh. Thinadhoo, were appointed at a special ceremony held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
Ms Aishath Athiya Naseer was appointed to the position of State Minister at the Ministry of Education. Ms Naseer completed her Master’s degree from the University of Nottingham in Education and previously served as the Chief Administrator of ADK Hospital.
Ms Zilfeena Hassan was appointed as a State Minister at the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services. Ms Zilfeena is presently a doctoral candidate and attainted her Master's and Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and the University of Abertay Dundee, respectively.
