Vice President Faisal Naseem has visited 3 schools in Kulhudhufushi as part of his ongoing visit to the islands in South Thiladhunmathi Atoll. The Vice President visited Kulhudhufushi's Jalaludheen School, Afeefudheen School, and the Haa Dhaalu Atoll Education Centre.
In each of the schools, the Vice President met with senior staff who expounded on their main issues and priorities going forward. The discussions centred around strategies on improving school management and catering to students needs, highlighting their particular resourcing and budgeting needs, to further enhance the quality of services provided to their students.
The Vice President was appreciative of their concerns and expressed the high priority that this administration accords to the sphere of education. He revealed that through his meetings with the Minister of Education and discussions with the relevant line ministries, he would, acting under the direction of President Solih, take steps to rectify all the issues that they have highlighted.
