President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived back in Male’, concluding the visit made to South Huvadhu Atoll Thinadhoo for the first 'Jazeera Holhuashi' public forum session held outside of the capital area.
This is the third iteration of Jazeera Holhuashi, and the theme of the event was 'Masverikamuge nafaa ithurukurun' or increasing profit from the fisheries sector. The President made his remarks during the session and discussed the concerns and suggestions from the fisher community.
In addition to the President, Vice President Faisal Naseem and several high-ranking members of the government attended the session.
As part of the visit, the President also met with some of the Huvadhu Atoll Councillors and senior officials of government institutions of the island.
