President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met with members of Raa Alifushi Council today at the Presidents Office.

During the meeting, the Councillors updated the President on prospects that would be beneficial for the future of the island and the Atoll, including reinitiating sea ambulance services and key points regarding the land allocated for industrial purposes.

The President spoke at the meeting, assuring the Councillors that he would look into reinitiating the sea ambulance services at the earliest possible point. The President also stated that further large-scale industrial and infrastructural projects are being planned under the ongoing 'National Master Plan' and that he would discuss the Councillors concerns and requests with the relevant line ministries and officials.
