Vice President Faisal Naseem has today visited Thuraakunu Island of North Thiladhunmathi Atoll.
Upon arrival, the Vice President was warmly welcomed by the island's community.
During his visit, the Vice President toured the Thuraakunu School, Health Centre, and Power House and met with the employees working at the institutes and enquired on the current situation and the challenges faced while carrying out the mandate of the institutes.
During the visit, the Vice President also meet with the members of Thuraakunu island Council and enquired about the most pressing issues faced on the island and on ongoing development projects.
