His Excellency President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has presented the Prime Minister of India His Excellency Narendra Modi, with the Order of the distinguished rule of Izzudeen, in recognition of the many services he has performed to cement the longstanding, amicable ties between our two countries, and for the magnanimous assistance that the Indian government has continued to provide the Maldives under Prime Minister Modi’s stewardship.
The ceremony for this event was held at the President’s office, as part of the Prime Minister’s State Visit.
