First Lady Fazna Ahmed has inaugurated the 'Endometriosis Association of Maldives' at a special ceremony held this evening at Maagiri Hotel, to mark the event.
Endometriosis is a common and painful disease that affects women during their menstruation cycle. It is estimated that 1 in 10 women suffers from this invisible chronic illness.
The main purpose of this association is to provide support to those who need it through informing and giving direction relevant to the disease, including its symptoms and treatment plans.
