President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has this afternoon met with members of the Vaikaradhoo Council of South Thiladhunmathi Atoll.
At the meeting held at the President’s Office, members of the council shared their concerns and future development projects planned for the island.
The Councilors especially noted the challenges being faced due to shortage of space at the Hdh.Atoll School, lack of sanitation services in the Island and electricity issues faced by the Island. The Councilors requested to relocate power house.
During the meeting, President Solih stated that the government would take necessary action after discussing with the line ministries and tackle these problems. He further informed that all projects allocated in this year’s budget will commence.
