Vice President Faisal Naseem participates in Active Workplace program Organised by Cancer Society Maldives. The event was held at the President’s Office this morning. 

Concerning the increase in the number of patients suffering from cancer, the Vice President noted that everyone should take preventative measures to decrease the chances of getting cancer. He also advised everyone to be active at their workplace and eat healthy food. Moreover, he urged everyone to avoid unhealthy activities and to stop the consumption of tobacco. And that we should help the younger generation to stop consuming tobaccos. 

Highlighting that building a healthy nation is one of the key pledges of this administration, the Vice President noted that the President himself is actively involved in building a healthy nation.  

Concluding his speech the Vice President expressed his gratitude for Cancer Society of Maldives for organizing such an event.
