President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has visited Naifaru Island of Faadhippolhu Atoll. 
    
During the visit President Solih met with the Naifaru Island Council and members of the councils briefed the President on the work being undertaken by the island council, and future plans of the council for the development of the island.

The President also enquired from the council members on the challenges being faced by the council, and the difficulties faced by the island communities.
    
Prior to the Naifaru tour, President Solih visited Dhuvaafaru Island of North Maalhosmadulu Atoll and met with members of the Dhuvaafaru Island Council and Un’goofaaru Island Council. He also attended this year’s Unity Day function held in Dhuvaafaru island yesterday.

The President also made an unofficial visit to his birth island, Hinnavaru of Faadhippolhu Atoll yesterday.

As the last part of this tour, the President is scheduled to visit Hen’badhoo Island of South Miladhummadulu Atoll today, where he will initiate sanitation services in the island. He will also later meet with the Hen’badhoo Island Council.
