President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has paid non-official visit to his birth island, Hinnavaru of Faadhippolhu Atoll.
Prior to the Hinnavaru tour, President Solih visited Dhuvaafaru Island of North Maalhosmadulu Atoll and met with members of the Dhuvaafaru Island Council and Un’goofaaru Island Council. He also attended this year’s Unity Day function held in Dhuvaafaru island earlier today.
As the last part of this tour, the President is scheduled to visit Hen’badhoo Island of South Miladhummadulu Atoll tomorrow, where he will initiate sanitation services in the island. He will also later meet with the Hen’badhoo Island Council.
