Vice President Faisal Naseem has today visited the Maafushi Prison to inquire about the current status of the institute. He also discussed with the Prison Officials about the challenges being faced on their daily operations and ways to resolve these issues.
Addressing the prison officers at Maafushi Prison, Vice President Naseem said that this administration will ensure that nobody is excluded from the society, and that a prison should be focused on the rehabilitation process of the inmates.
The Vice President was accompanied on the visit by Minister of Home Affairs Sheikh Imran Abdulla.
