Vice President Abdulla Jihad has stated that the Administration has targeted to provide a total solution for the housing problem being faced today. The Vice President made this remark while addressing the gathering at Dharubaruge to inaugurate the “Hiya Accomplished” Villimale’ Phase 2 master plan.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice President noted that it was a priority of the Administration to provide a high-quality standard of living for every Maldivian.
Vice Jihad highlighted that the idea of providing a total solution to address the housing shortage was initiated by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and expressed thanks to the President on behalf of all Maldivians for his visionary plans towards the welfare of the community.
The Vice President also underscored that the Hiya project was initiated to meet the housing needs of the people and that the project sought to complement the economic vision, and growth, of the country.
In concluding his speech, Vice Jihad called upon every Maldivian to vote in the upcoming Presidential Election; while giving due consideration towards recent developments achieved by the country.
