President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has inaugurated the services of sewerage system in Milandhoo Island of North Miladhummadulu Atoll. The ceremony was held this morning at the harbour area of Milandhoo.
During the ceremony the President unveiled the monument placed to inaugurate the services to the island.
The President is currently on a two day visit to islands of North Miladhunmadulu Atoll. As part of the visit the President visited Bileffahi Island and attended the ceremony held to mark the completion of beach protection project and inaugurated the harbour at Kanditheemu Island. Moreover the President took part in the ceremony held to mark the completion of the airport land reclamation project and airport development project in Funadhoo Island.
The President is scheduled to return back to Male’ this afternoon.
