President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived in Guraidhoo Island this evening, as part of his current visit to the Malé Atoll islands of Thulusdhoo, Maafushi and Guraidhoo.
Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed by the island's community.
As part of his visit, the President will inaugurate the harbour and services for clean drinking water in the Island.
Earlier today the President visited Thulusdhoo Island and Maafushi Island; inaugurated the harbour of Thulusdhoo Island and took part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the beach protection project in Maafushi Island.
