President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived in Thulusdhoo Island this morning, as part of his current visit to the Malé Atoll islands of Thulusdhoo, Maafushi and Guraidhoo.
Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed by the island's community.
As part of his visit, the President will inaugurate the harbor of Thulusdhoo Island.
The President will visit Maafushi Island and Guraidhoo Islands later today, to take part in the ceremony to be held to mark the completion of the beach protection project in Maafushi Island, and inaugurate the harbour and clean drinking water services in Guraidhoo Island.
