President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has stated that the work of this administration is focused towards the betterment of the citizens and making the country better in every way. The President made this statement at a ceremony held this morning at the President’s Office to launch Ravvehi Tharaqqe, a book compiled by the President’s Office, chronicling the highlights of national developmental projects, especially the major projects undertaken in the past four years.
During his speech the President noted that the newly launched book depicts this administration’s efforts to improve the quality of life for the people, by resolving their major concerns. President Yameen highlighted that the book will serve as a useful guide to school students, university students and researchers, encompassing in-depth statistical information on the advancement brought about during the current administration’s four years.
President Yameen further said that the economic and urban planning for the next 5 years will be based on the information compiled in Ravvehi Tharaqqee.
