President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has today inaugurated the Presidential Plaque awarded to the Best All Round Student of Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools in the Maldives.
At a ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning, the President awarded the Presidential Plaque to the Best All Round Student of the year 2017, from the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Aishath Mal-haa.
Meeting Aishath Mal-haa afterwards, the President advised to always put the religion and country forward, regardless of where one might be studying abroad. The President also noted the importance of repaying the nation for all its services. In addition, the President advised Aishath Mal-haa to incorporate all disciplines of education in pursuing her goals, and wished her the best in all future endeavours.
Prior to the inauguration of the Presidential Plaque, the Best All Round Student was awarded a prize from the President.
