President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a congratulatory message to the new Prime Minister of Nepal, His Excellency Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli on his election as the new Prime Minister.
The President’s message to the Nepalese Prime Minister reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and my own behalf, may I extend to Your Excellency my sincere good wishes and congratulations on your election as the new Prime Minister of Nepal”.
“We are delighted that Nepal is entering new era under your able leadership, both nationally and internationally, and I hope that the people of Nepal will achieve great success and prosperity under your able direction. I remain confident that the existing brotherly relations between our two countries will be further strengthened and diversified in the years ahead”.
“Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and well-being and the assurances of my highest consideration”.
