President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, while speaking at a Progressive Party of Maldives Event this evening, appealed to all to move forward with sincerity.
The President said he entered politics not with the intention to mislead the public, nor to misuse public resources, but to serve with devotion.
The President considered that one should not wish something on another that one would not wish upon one’s own self.
The President said that we should all be of the strong spirit; “Mock not our faith. Mock not our nation.”
The President called upon the Maldivian community to maintain national peace through the upcoming election.
