President mandates the Center for the Holy Quran with conducting examinations for Quran memorisation, certifying those who commit the Quran to memory

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has decided that conducting examinations for Quran memorisation, certifying those who commit the Quran to memory, and requesting Ministry of Finance and Treasury for the allowance for people who commit the Quran to memory, is mandated to the Center for the Holy Quran.

The President’s decision comes as a way of facilitating the people with a more convenient and feasible procedure, as well as to ensure better records keeping.
