President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived in Hinnavaru Island of Faadhippolhu Atoll this morning, as part of his current visit to some islands of South Miladhummadulu, Faadhippolhu and South Maalhosmadulu Atolls.
Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed by the island's community. During his visit to Hinnavaru, the President will inaugurate services for clean drinking water.
As part of his three day tour of South Miladhunmadulu, Faadhippolhu and South Maalhosmadulu Atolls, the President visited Maalhendhoo Island, Hen’badhoo Island, Holhudhoo Island and Velidhoo Island yesterday; where he inaugurated the harbor and the mosque in Maalhendhoo, attended the groundbreaking of sewerage system in Hen’badhoo, and inaugurated the harbor in Holhudhoo and Velidhoo.
