President congratulates winners of this year’s “Dhivehiraajeyge Emme Ali Gadha Thari”

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has conveyed his congratulations to the winner of “Dhivehiraajeyge Emme Ali Gadha Thari”, Mr. Mohamed Ismail. The President also congratulated the first runner-up Ms. Fathimath Maldha Mohamed, and second runner-up Ms. Nasrath Ismail.

“Dhivehiraajeyge Emme Ali Gadha Thari” is a nationwide Quran recitation competition organised by the Public Service Media (PSM), for the holy month of Ramadan.

At the grand finale held this evening, First Lady Madam Fathimath Ibrahim presented Mr. Mohamed Ismail with the winner’s trophy and the MVR 500,000 prize money.
