Vice President Abdulla Jihad has received on behalf of Thinadhoo Island of South Huvadhoo Atoll, 5 tonnes of organic fertiliser donated by Ensis Fisheries Pvt Ltd. The ceremony was held today at the Ensis factory in Hulhumalé.

The 100% organic fertilizer is made using waste materials from factories, which result from the production process. Managing Director of Ensis Fisheries Mr. Mohamed Waseem Ismail informed that Ensis’s organic fertiliser would save 30% on imported fertilisers to the country.

At today’s ceremony, the Vice President was accompanied by Minister at the President’s Office Ahmed Zuhoor.
