Vice President Abdulla Jihad has this evening at Schwack Cinema, inaugurated Season Two of Maldivian Idol.

Season One of the show was held in 2016.

The show, by Public Service Media (PSM), aims to showcase young talent while enhancing opportunities for commerce through sponsorship opportunities – contributing to two key areas of focus for the current Administration. Maldivian Idol is the first international franchise Television show to come to the Maldives. Participants for the show have been selected from different parts of Maldives.

The Vice President was accompanied at the ceremony by the Managing Director at PSM, Ibrahim Khaleel as well as senior officials of PSM and government officials.
