Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Abdulrahman Bin Abdel Mohsen Al Fadhly, paid a courtesy call on the President of Maldives His Excellency Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, at the King Saud Guest Palace this morning.

During the call, President and the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture held discussions on providing assistance in capacity building in the field of agriculture and exploring further opportunities in the fisheries sector.

A high-level delegation that includes Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Asim, Minister of Economic Development, H.E. Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture H.E. Dr. Mohamed Shainee, Minister of State, Foreign Relations, at the President’s Office, H.E. Mohamed Naseer, and Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Abdulla Hameed accompanied the President at the Call.
