The new High Commissioner of New Zealand accredited to the Maldives Mr Peter Hamilton presented his credentials to President Mohamed Nasheed today at the President’s Office.
The President and the High Commissioner then discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further strengthen these relations.
The meeting was also attended by Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed, Special Envoy of the President Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, Advisor on Political Affairs Mohamed Shihab and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Naseem.
