President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has made the following appointments to Cabinet today:
- Hon. Ahmed Zuhoor, as the Minister of Home Affairs
- Hon. Iruthisham Adam, as the Minister of Youth and Sports
- Hon. Ahmed Munawwar, as the Minister of Finance and Treasury
- Hon. Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, as the Minister of Health
- Hon. Aminath Zeneesha Shaheed Zaki, as the Minister of Gender and Family
The new members took the oath of office, administered by Chief Justice Hon. Uz. Abdulla Saeed, this afternoon at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
