President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has conveyed his condolences, to the President Her Excellency Bidya Devi Bhandari, and Prime Minister His Excellency Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli of Nepal, following the passing away of Former Prime Minister His Excellency Sushil Koirala.
In separate messages, the President stated that the broad and varied contributions that His Excellency made to Nepal, its people, and the SAARC community as a whole would always be cherished.
In his messages, President Yameen also conveyed condolences on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, to the Government and neighbourly people of Nepal, and in particular, to the family of the late former Prime Minister.
