President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of sympathy to Pakistani Prime Minister, H.E. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, following the factory collapse in Lahore.
The President’s message reads as follows:
“I was deeply distressed to learn of the factory collapse in Lahore, causing the tragic loss of lives and grievous injury to many.”
“At this time of distress, the Government and the people of the Maldives join me in extending our profound sympathy to you, the Government and neighbourly people of Pakistan.”
“Please also convey our sincere condolences to the members of the bereaved families.”
