President Mohamed Nasheed has appointed Mr Mohamed Adil Saleem as Minister of Transport and Communication, and Dr Mariyam Zulfa as Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
The President presented their letters of appointment at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning.
Speaking after their appointment, President Nasheed said he was confident in their ability to serve the people of the Maldives and they would do their utmost for the development of the country.
Mr Saleem and Dr Zulfa took their oath of office prior to the presentation of their letters of appointment by the President. Oath was administered by the Supreme Court Judge Uz. Adam Mohamed Abdulla.
